  • Thesis Work 2023

    Master thesis proposals:

    The FlexQube RnD department is currently in an expansive period where we have multiple different interesting development projects applicable to various AGV/AMR platforms and mechanical parts. This entails many different fields in robotics and mechanical engineering, where some of the main focuses are on the following fields:

    • Computer vision applied to real-time camera data feeds
    • Machine learning / AI
    • Sensor fusion
    • Embedded software development (Linux, ROS2, Python, C++, etc)
    • Data communication (CAN bus, Ethernet/IP, etc)
    • Android development
    • Mechatronics
    • FEM calculations mechanical carts
    • Modularization of FEM
    • Inventor automation tools development

    We are open to Thesis Work in any of these fields, where the goal is to test and evaluate the progress of our eQart® or our mechanical carts. What we think is the most important is that you find interesting and fun to work with. Do not hesitate to contact us for further discussions!

    About FlexQube:

    FlexQube provides a modular material handling system to push the boundaries of material handling carts. The modularity allows carts to be made specifically for your materials, helping you improve safety standards and ergonomics while greatly boosting your internal efficiency. We exist to offer the best customized and adaptable carts to create your future factory.

    About eQart:

    The eQart® concept is an autonomous and remote-controlled material handling cart. By using FlexQube building blocks and complementing them with digital modules such as motors, batteries, control units, and sensors. This enables us to offer a flexible, affordable, and user-friendly automated concept.

    There are multiple different concepts of eQart® where the currently most common one, eQart® Line, is an easy-to-implement AGV solution that is using computer vision and sensor fusion to follow a tape drawn on the floor. It is a product completely developed in-house, and where we can see a lot of interesting challenges coming up in the near future.

    The goal with the eQart® is to offer the most user-friendly automation solution for intralogistics operations and to support companies in overcoming challenges with increasing logistics costs.

  • Summer Internship 2023

    The FlexQube RnD department is currently in an expansive period where we have multiple
    different interesting development projects applicable over a wide variety of our AGV/AMR
    platforms.

    This entails many different fields in robotics engineering, where some of the
    main focuses are on the following areas:

    • Computer vision applied to real-time
    camera data feeds
    • Machine learning / AI
    • Sensor fusion
    • Embedded software development
    (Linux, ROS2, Python, C++, etc.)
    • Data communication (CAN bus,
    Ethernet/IP, etc.)
    • Android development
    • Mechatronics

    We are open for summer jobs in any of these fields. The goal would be to test and evaluate
    the progress on our eQart®. We have excellent test facilities at our HQ in Mölndal, where
    you will have the ability to do real-time testing during the development of your projects.
