Letter from the CEO 2013

Global, growing and glowing

That is how I as a CEO summarize 2013 for FlexQube. We have had a tremendous year where we grew by more than 500% compared to 2012. We have expanded our footprint to also include North America through both our new distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia, in cooperation with PartnerTech Inc.

”…we grew by more than 500% compared to 2012.”

Our sales growth in U.S. added up to more than 1100% for the year and we aim at growing more than 500% in 2014. We are working very hard to setup the very same, excellent supply chain we have in Europe also in the US, but we move slowly in order to maintain the same high quality of our products. The lead time for our US customers had decreased vastly after the setup of our US distribution center but we will strive for even shorter lead times in the future.

”Our sales growth in U.S. added up to more than 1100% for the year…”

It is also important to state out that at whatever plant, in whatever country or region your company intend to use the FlexQube concept at, you should be promised to receive the same type of system components with the same dimensions, steel quality and finish. One of the main trends at the moment is that global companies start expanding their state of the art material handling systems, including the innovative FlexQube concept, from one factory in one continent to other plants in other parts of the world.

FlexQube is happy to grow with our global customers and one of the objectives this year already is to take the very first steps towards a presence in Asia. We do not only want to add flexibility to the manufacturing operations at these global manufacturing companies but also add to the flexibility on a strategic level, including the possibility to rapidly move production volumes or complete factory setups from one country to another.

”…one of the objectives this year already is to take the very first steps towards a presence in Asia.”

FlexQube bulding blocks

By working with the most prominent manufacturing companies in the world, we learn a lot about the trends and innovation taking place in the area of intralogistics. High ergonomic requirements, lack of space at production lines, continuously fluctuating demands and late changes in requirements for material handling projects continue to frustrate production engineers and project leaders.

This is where the FlexQube concept finds its proper place in the market. We combine the strength of a welded solution together with the flexibility of a LEGO® inspired concept. Since our components are manufactured using top modern and automated punching, laser cutting and welding machines we can offer very high quality but also highly competitive price on our products.

“We are very much looking forward to 2014 when we’ll take more major steps on the global playing field of intralogistics.”

We are very much looking forward to 2014 when we’ll take more major steps on the global playing field of intralogistics. Through even more collaborations with other actors in the industry and through an improved and clearer concept offering, we will reach out to more global companies that we know are in need of our concept.
