IoT (Internet of Things) Definition

IoT stands for the Internet of Things and relates to all of the devices that now collect and share data online through the internet. In an industrial setting, it refers to all of the sensors, software, and other technological devices that are used to collect and share information. Iot has led to the emergence of machine learning and AI (Artificial Intelligence), along with the real-time collection of data. This has made it easier for the smart factory to be realized and the arrival of Industry 4.0.
